Mr. McBain graduated university with a degree in psychology in 1990. In 1998, he became supervisor of a clinical psychiatric, paediatric treatment facility, where he led a team of mental health professionals in supporting hundreds of children dealing with severe mental health issues. In 2005, Mr. McBain graduated York University with a degree in education and became a certified teacher. He moved from the Toronto area to northern Manitoba to teach on a rural First Nations community in 2010. He was promoted to Vice Principal in 2011 and continued in that role for 8 years. In 2018, Mr. McBain graduated with a master’s degree in education and moved to BC. where he returned to teaching. Mr. McBain is married with 3 children and happily living in Prince George.
